Biography

I am an Assistant Professor at Computer Science, Great Bay University. My research develops probabilistic machine learning models and algorithms to solve problems arising in computational social science and natural sciences.

I recently moved from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen where I was a research scientist, working with Prof. Hongyuan Zha, Prof. Chris H.Q. Ding, and Prof. Mingyuan Zhou (UT Austin) on generative models with continuous-time processes and optimal transport.

I received my PhD in ETIT from TU Darmstadt in 2019 under the guidance of Prof. Heinz Koeppl. My PhD thesis developed non-parametrics Bayesian methods for sparse dynamic networks.

Prior to that, I received a MPhil in Computer Science and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University.
